Thanks for your Thanksgiving help! What I loved and used last year was your Gobble Gobble Guide. Any way to get my hands on it this year? Making your turkey, Make Ahead mashed potatoes, Green Bean Casserole again this year! ๐ฆ๐
Lori - so glad you liked the Gobble Gobble Guide from years past. I hope you love this one too! So exciting you are making so many recipes from Celebrate with Babs!
Is the Gobble Gobble guide the portions to use for the number of guests? Because it was in the email i received for this thread. Otherwise on google i found the video ๐

This is great. Thank you. I also print a thanksgiving menu. I have them from years ago. I post it so the guests can see it and I check off what is done on day of. I have a small house so I set the table the night before. Get a good night sleep the night before because the next day is busy and you really want to enjoy it. Ask for help in the kitchen! If guests want to help and you have the room, let them come in and roll up their sleeves. Enjoy and be grateful. We have each other. Nothing better.
I love your idea of using the slow cooker to heat the mash potatoes made ahead. What a great idea because using the microwave makes no sense and itโs a no no.
Babs! Youโre such a dear! Thank you for doing this. It really is such a help just knowing portions and having a schedule. Grateful for people who go out of their way to relieve stress and provide a wonderful strategy! Happiest Thanksgiving!
Do you have any recommendations when using an electric roaster for cooking the turkey? Obviously cannot use the pizza stone method. Do you still recommend the double foil layer? What about the rack? Thanks!
Is there an easy way to print this as a whole document or do you need to print each page separately? Would love to print and keep in my holidays binder.

Great advice! And I love the idea of keepsake menus - that double as checklists!
How do you use baking powder for a crispy skin?
I use it in my dry brine. Full recipe in Celebrate with Babs!

I also heat the gravy on the stove and store in a thermos to free up stove space!
