Thanks for some great ideas! We have 12 Littles! Looking forward to your next posts. We have vacationed with all of the kids this Spring and Summer from Crete (Greece, not Illinois!), to Hawaii to Florida. Love your cookbooks!
With all the poverty and horror affecting children in the world right now, this "Camp Babs" promotion rings hollow and crass. I expected more from you.
In my opinion your comment is both unfair and unnecessary. She runs a business. We are all aware of suffering and as our budgets, time and consciences allows individuals take action accordingly but please take your soapbox elsewhere. Thank you
I'm all for wonderful grandmothers. I just don't see why she has to ask for money at the end. It's the constant asking for financial support that bothers me, and that is totally separate from being a good grandmother.
I never said she was my friend, nor do I expect her to be. I also know she's a business woman. I've bought her book. I follow her on IG. I like her. I just think there is a context for everything, and a cozy kids campout followed by a pitch for money just doesn't work for me.
Babs, this sounds amazing!! I need recipes π€© Youβve streamlined my Thanksgiving dinners, now help me cook like the Camping Queen (thatβs you! π«ΆπΌ)
Sounds like so much fun!!β€οΈ
Love all of this! Core memories were made!
Huttopia is WONDERFUL!!!!!! We have been multiple times, best way to get away from it all
That sounds fantastic! Babs, thanks for the information as well as the inspiration!
What wonderful memories you all will have.
How lovely! Such happy campers βΊοΈ

God forbid a woman try to have a nice summer vacation with her grandchildren.
She's welcome to do that. It's the pitch for support (aka money) at the end that I do not like.

What horrible thing to say. I say, what a caring wonderful gramma.
