Hi everybody, it’s Babs.
My thank you series continues today with another giveaway. (Does it feel like Christmas yet?) I’m especially excited about this one because I wrote Every Day With Babs to take the stress out of dinner time, and this giveaway is designed to make it even easier to get dinner on the table.
Every chapter of Every Day With Babs has a theme that coordinates with a night of the week (plus dessert), and I’m giving away the essential tools and appliances to enjoy each chapter’s recipes. Having the right, high-quality tools really goes a long way towards making it easier to get dinner on the table without breaking a sweat.
Here’s what I’m giving away to one lucky person who pre-orders:
For the Get Your “Sheet” (Pan) Together Monday chapter, you’ll get Nordic Ware Naturals 3-Piece Baking Set. They’re sheet pans are the best–and made in America!
For the Eat Twice Twosday chapter’s batch cooking, I’m giving you a set of Glass Food Storage Containers with Lids to store the extra helpings. (I love clear glass containers so I can see what’s in my fridge.)
For the One and Only Wednesday chapter, you’ll receive a Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Skillet–perfect for one-pot meals. This is one of those lasts-a-lifetime pans I love the most.
Then for the Thrifty Thursday chapter, which is full of dinners that use pantry staples, I’m giving away a $250 gift card to stock your pantry.
For the Fri-Yay chapter’s fun, laidback meals I’ve included a Waterproof Over-Sized Tote because it’s just plain fun (but you could certainly tote your meal ingredients to a friend’s house in it on a Friday night!).
For the Low and Slow Saturday chapter you’ll need a slow cooker (so you can enjoy the day with your family and come home to a waiting meal); I’m including All-Clad Electrics 7 Qt. Slow Cooker.
For the final dinner chapter, Sunday Supper, I’m giving away some of the table linens used in the cookbook, to make those special sit-down family meals just a little more elevated.
Finally, for the Sweet Tooth (aka dessert!) chapter, you’ll receive a 5-piece Silicone Utensil Set with Crock, so not one drop off batter gets wasted!
Sending a BIG thank you to my friends at Birch Lane, who made this giveaway possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.
XO, Babs

Yes! All orders placed at any time through 11:59 pm ET on May 17, 2025 are now eligible to enter. If you preordered the book before this contest was announced, you may still enter your order information above to participate in this sweepstakes.
I live outside of the U.S., can I still enter?
No, unfortunately, this is only open to U.S. residents.
Does my book tour ticket count as a preorder if I purchased it in advance?
Maybe! If your book tour ticket includes a book as part of your ticket, you can enter. If it was an event-only ticket, you cannot.
Will I receive an email confirmation?
No. A confirmation of your entry should appear on the page once you have completed the form. You will not receive an email confirmation of your entry into this sweepstakes.
How will I know if I have won?
The winners will be announced during a virtual book launch party at the Basket House on May 18, 2025. Winners will also receive an email on May 5th confirming the news.
What if I can’t find my order number?
You can submit a photo of a receipt or a screenshot of your order–anything to show us you purchased Every Day With Babs before April 8.
What are the chances I’ll win?
You never know! The only way to win is to try–that’s something I learned when I started a new career in my 70s. I hope you’ll try your luck!
I purchased the new cookbook along with a ticket to see Babs on April 15 at my local bookstore. Does this count?
